Once the redITEM category structure has been built, fields have been created, items stored and templates designed, your redITEM directory is ready for publishing. There are two ways to publish redITEM contents: menu items and redITEM modules.

Contents

Available redITEM Menu Items

There are seven menu item views available, three that display items to the public and four that are meant to be used when the user is logged in.

redITEM Modules

redITEM Search Module

RedITEM---Search-module-front.jpg

This module allows you to display a discrete redITEM search form anywhere on your site. Searches run through this module will display results based on matches found within any of the item search fields.

RedITEM---Search-module-params.jpg

Among the module parameters are options to define the search type, the default category to return results from, and the menu item ID that will help with module assignments. There are two search types available:

The search module template can be designed from within redITEM's "Template" section. You can make adjustments to the "content_search_module" template and make any of the fields available as search filters. Search results will be displayed using the "All Items" view.
