Creating and managing containers

"Container Information" tab:
Name - sets the name that identifies the container
Container Start Date - the date the record for the container was created; ( calendar*replace)
Minimum Delivery Time - sets the minimum number of days or weeks that the container is expected to be delivered in so that the virtual stock will be factored into stock availability when placing orders
Maximum Delivery Time - sets the maximum number of days or weeks that the container is expected to be delivered in so that the virtual stock will be factored into stock availability when placing orders
Volume - the value of the total physical volume of the container that is carrying the stock
Move Container to - (notes soon) (Select: )
Supplier - sets the supplier from which the container consignment is being sent; select from the dropdown list of the suppliers that have been stored in redSHOP
Published - sets whether this container is active and to be considered among the stock level calculations within redSHOP; if a problem comes up with this consignment, or you do not want it to factor in, unpublish the container (Available options: Yes, No)
Description - a space to put in a description for this container, its purpose or more about the consignment details for example (HTML)


"Products in Container" tab:
"Add Product to Container" - opens a lightbox where you can create a new product in the product catalog, in case it does not yet exist, that will also be configured to be restocked by the consignment in this container; in other words, this link lets you add a new product to the catalog while you are assigning products that this container will be refilling stock of
Existing Products - select this checkbox to display a list of the products you have stored in the product catalog (checkbox)
Pre-ordered Products - select this checkbox to display a list of only the products whose stock levels are low and that have pre-orders placed for (checkbox)

Per product in container:
Product Name - the name of the product
Product Quantity - the amount of stock being ordered for the product
Product Volume Unit - the total volume of the quantity of products being ordered
Product Quantity - (notes soon)


"Add Container" button -
Product Name - the label that should read "Volume measurements"
Product Quantity - the total number of products being ordered in the container
Product Volume Unit - the total measure of volume that all the products being ordered take
Delete - (notes soon)
Total Volume Filled in Container - the total volume filled in the container
Volume Left in Container - the volume left, or the amount of space, available in the container


Actions:
Apply - saves any changes made and refreshes the page
Save - saves any changes made and redirects to the listing screen
Cancel - returns to the listing screen without saving any changes
