Overview of Container screens

Containers Listing screen

Fields:
Container Name - the name that identifies the container
Stockroom Name - the name for the stockroom whose stock levels are being added to by the contents of this container
Minimum Delivery Time - the minimum number of days or weeks that the container is expected to be delivered in so that the virtual stock will be factored into stock availability when placing orders
Maximum Delivery Time - the maximum number of days or weeks that the container is expected to be delivered in so that the virtual stock will be factored into stock availability when placing orders
Delivery Volume - the value of the total physical volume of the container that is carrying the stock
Published - sets whether this container is active and to be considered among the stock level calculations within redSHOP; if a problem comes up with this consignment, or you do not want it to factor in, unpublish the container (No, Yes)


Actions:
Export Data - generates a CSV File with a container consignment inventory list; the types of data exported include the Container ID, Name and Description, and the date the record for the container was created
Print Data - opens a new window with a printer-friendly version of the inventory listing with the products currently being displayed
New - takes you to the add container screen where you can add a new product to the catalog
Edit - takes you to the edit container screen where you can modify an existing container's details. The screen can be reached either by clicking on the container name or clicking on the checkbox next to their name followed by the edit button
Delete - removes the container record and all related product consignment details from the database, this is a permanent delete
Publish - lets you set containers to be active in batch and and to be considered among the stock level calculations within redSHOP, with either single or multiple container records selected for publishing
Unpublish - lets you set containers to be disabled in batch and exclude them among the stock level calculations within redSHOP, with either single or multiple container records selected for unpublishing




Container Pre-order screen

Fields:
Product Number - the number or SKU of the product that has been pre-ordered
Product Name - the name of the product that has been pre-ordered
Product Description - the first 50 characters of the product description, to serve as a quick reminder
Category - the categories that this product is assigned to
Container Number - the ID number assigned to the container
Order Number - each listed product is displayed with the order number of the pre-order that the customer placed for them
Quantity - the number of units that have been ordered for this product in this particular order
Volume (m3) - the total physical volume of space that the quantity of products ordered will take
Supplier - the name of the supplier that the container is coming from, if there is one assigned


Filters:
By supplier - update the listing to display only products that are in containers being sent by specific suppliers


Actions:
Add New Container - redirects to the add new container screen

Fields:

Product Name - the name of the product that has been ordered
