Overview of Text Library screens

Fields:
Text Tag name - the tag that is used within the relevant template to display the text tag
Description – the brief notes that describe what the text tag is for
Section – the section that the text tag applies to and will appear in
Published – sets whether the content of this text tag is displayed in the template it appears in; unpublish to hide


Filters:
by Section - updates the text tags listed according to the section they belong to; sections include Product, Category and Newsletter


Actions:
New - takes you to the add text tag screen where you can create a new text tag to use in templates
Edit - takes you to the edit text tag screen where you can modify an existing tag's details. The screen can be reached either by clicking on the tag name or clicking on the checkbox next to their name followed by the edit button
Copy - lets you duplicate a text tag, simply check the checkboxes next to the names of the tags that should be duplicated and click on copy
Delete - removes the text tag from the database, this is a permanent delete
Publish - lets you set text tags to be displayed and usable within templates in batch, with either single or multiple field records selected for publishing
Unpublish - lets you set text tags in batch to be hidden from the front-end and unavailable in the back-end, with either single or multiple field records selected for unpublishing

Fields:
Text Tag name – sets the tag that is used to display the contents of the text tag
Description – sets the brief notes that describe what the text tag is for
Section – sets the section that the text tag applies to and will appear in; the tag can be used in product, category and newsletter templates
Published – sets whether the content of this text tag is displayed in the template it appears in; unpublish to hide
Text tag content – a space to store the contents that will be displayed when the text tag is used in the template; this content can consist of text, images, HTML and called to modules and plugins


Actions:
Apply - saves any changes made and refreshes the page
Save - saves any changes made and redirects to the listing screen
Cancel - returns to the listing screen without saving any changes
